The GLCC is proud to announce the development of additional programming geared toward the presentation and recognition of local GLBT artists.

Thanks to a significant contribution made specifically to create this program, GLCC is undergoing plans to feature the artistic works of established and rising members of the GLBT community at a series of open houses in 2006.

Volunteers are needed to form a committee to further develop this art program. Although all interested parties are welcome, ideal candidates should possess some experience in the field of art appreciation and be willing to fulfill a one-year commitment. Tasks will include the solicitation of artists, advancement of facility modifications, and arrangement of scheduled open houses.

Volunteers also are needed to assist with the necessary facility modifications to adequately feature various forms of artwork. Again, all are welcome but an electrical and/or construction background would be helpful.
