Standing With All Families

There are many events scheduled for the two weeks of our "Standing With All Families" series as a counter-response to the Pittsburgh arrival of Dr. James Dobson and Focus on the FamilyAction. This is a wonderful opportunity for the Pittsburgh region glbtq community to work together with area faith groups and civil rights organizations. Together, we can speak respectfully yet clearly to the value of ALL families and the reality of people who support gay families.

Please review the attached flyer and note the diversity of the coalition co-sponsors.

The weeks culminate in a planned "presence" (not a protest) on Sept. 20, followed by a prayer vigil for those who choose.

"Whose families matter and what are their lives about?"
